As a new store owner, what do you think one of your biggest challenges is?
Sales, right? Well, that’s oversimplified. But if you dig a little deeper, the root of your sales problem stems from a lack of quality traffic.
Without getting the right people in the door first, you have nobody to sell to.
Some important questions you should be asking yourself:
- Am I getting enough traffic?
- Do I know what enough traffic is?
- How do I know how much traffic I’m really getting?
One thing that worries me is that too many shops rely on paid traffic, like Facebook Ads. This is dangerous because it can be costly and you can really put your full business at risk by reducing your profits.
Before gambling on paid traffic, it’s important to step back and really figure out who your audience is first and some ways to start driving free traffic to your store.
